NEW YORK, July 19. The Sun says that America is confronted by a crisis with Turkey. Battleships may be sent to the Eastern Mediterranean to protect American lives and property, and missionaries may be instructed to leave Turkey, whose reply to a protest against the seizure of mission property and the ill-treatment of a consular agent at Damascus is highly unsatisfactory.
