FOURTEENTH REINFORCEMENTS. ft REVIEWED BY THE GOVERNOR, WELLINGTON, Juno 21. The Governor held a review of the Fourteenth Reinforcements at Trentham to-day, and complimented the men on their appearance. PARADE IN WELLINGTON. WELLINGTON, June 26. The weather, though threatening, was fine for the parade of the 14th Remiorcements this afternoon. Largo crowds lined the streets to watch the men. FIFTEENTH REINFORCEMENTS. Captain E. C. Dovey, N.Z.S.C, who has been camp adjutant at Trentham for the past 11 months, will leave for the front in command of the Fifteenth Reinforcements. Captain Dovey, who received Imperial Army training, in the Hlcots Greys, came to Nov/ Zealand some years ago in connection with the Territorial training scheme, and was stationed at Palmerston North. EIGHTEENTH REINFORCEMENTS. The number of recruits coming forward has been sufficiently steady to render it pretty well certain that there will be no shortage in the district's quota for the Eighteenth Reinforcements, which will leave Dunedin to go into training on Thursday next. Included in those who will go forward are 830 men and 54 non-commissioned officers medically fit on the register. The totals for the group are: —

Tiiero are 159 men not yet examined, which, with the 92 rejected, for medical reasons, bring the total registrations for the period up to 1135. The number of men fit and available for the next quota is 443. The succeding two quotas are both filling up steadily, and a fair number of recruits have registered for the three drafts to follow them. The Canterbury military district has a surplus of 107 infantry men for the 18th Reinforcements to go into camp this week. The personal canvass of men on the recruiting roll has not so far been a success in Auckland.
