BERLIN, June 26. Herr Batocki, the food dictator, states that a temporary prohibition of the consumption of meat may perhaps be expected in September. New meat tickets are being issued to-day allowing lOoz of meat per head weekly. The bread rations of the working classes may be increased in August. Bread reserve, upon which the country is now living, is possible only by the economy of grain under the War Department. If the central purchase company had been unsuccessful in regard to

imports of grain we would have been seriously embarrassed, and it depends upon the result of the. harvest whether the present rations can be continued.
