SENSATIONAL ALLEGATIONS.
LONDON, June 24. Mr Billing, M.P., at the air inquiry alleged that a naval airman who assisted an officer of the Loyal Flying Corps who had fallen into the sea was reprimanded by his commanding officer, who said that the Roval flying men had no right to fly over the sea. and added : "If they fall in let them drown. I '' ITe also ordered the aviator to undergo six days' extra duty because lie ''seemed so fond of work." Mr Billing added thai on the occasion of the Zeppelin raid many aviators were ordered to go up, and 75 per cent, of them were killed. Many of the machines were smashed.
