GERMANY SMUGGLING COPPER FROM NORWAY. COPENHAGEN, June 24. The German steamer Ems, reported a few days ago to have been torpedoed by a British submarine in the Kattegat, is being salved. She is laden with timber and oil. A sensation has been caused by the discovery of several tons of copper concealed in the cargo and smuggled out of Norway. There is no fear of its ever reaching Germany.
