IMPERIAL SERVICE ORDER.
LONG SERVICE MEDALS. WELLINGTON, October 22. The King has authorised the granting of long-service medals of the Imperial- Service Order to six retired members of the Now Zealand postal service. These medals are granted to lower grade officers for long and meritorious service in State departments in any part of the Empire. The following are the recipients and the length of service, the date of their retirement being given in parentheses: James Burrow, letter-carriers’ sorter, Wellington, 35 years and 10 months’ service (September, 1905). George Morcom, letter-carrier, Blenheim, 32 years and two months’ service (Juno, 1.908): William Parlane, linesman, Milton, 34 years and 11 months’ service (June, 1908). Clifford Sage, linesman, Asnburton, 35 years and two months’ service (June, 1908). Hcrrman Henry Roflcs, linesman, Kaikcura, 34- years’ service (November, 1914). Sarah Brock, oadette, Wellington. 35 years and one month service (June, 1908).
