LONDON, October 12. Britain has dismissed the Bulgarian Minister. The Daily Telegraph's Rome correspon dent states that King Ferdinand, at a banquet, proposed the health of the Kaiser and the Bulgarian alliance with Germany. He smashed his glass after drinking, and everybody imitated him. Letters from Bulgaria show that the situation is extremely critical. A special train conveying the allied Ambassadors to Dedeagatch passed traiuloads of recruits, who greeted them with frantic cheers for “Mother Russia.” The popular international disgust at King Ferdinand’s policy threatens an outbreak at any moment. ATHENS, October 12. The Serbian Minister has officially advised M. Zaimis of the opening of the Bulgarian offensive. M. Zaimis replied: “ Greece remains in a position of armed neutrality.” ROME, October 13. The Corriere della Sera states that four German submarines are taking refuge at Varna from the Russian fleet. ROME, October 13. The Idea Nazionale states that Bulgarian comitadjis invaded Greek territory near Grumulgina. The Greek troops, believing the invaders to be Bulgarian regulars who had occupied the neutral zone, sharp fighting ensued. GERMAN “ FRIGHTFULNESS.” THE BABY-KILLERS OUT. NISH, October 13. German aeroplanes arc bombing Serbian towns and villages, killing women and children in the hope of terrorising the population. The Serbians captured several guns on the southern outskirts of Belgrade. The Anstro-Gennans have been forced to evacuate Orsova under fierce Serbian artillery fire, which destroyed the barracks and ammunition depot.
