SUNNYSIDE INQUIRY.
ALLEGED ILL-TREATMENT OF PATIENT. CHRISTCHURCH, August 25. A reporter made inquiries from Dr W. B. Gow medical superintendent of the Sunnyside Mental Hospital, to-day regarding the holding of an investigation into the. alleged maltreatment of the Jale Mr Tribe. Ur Gow said that up to the present lie had no official information as to the date on which the inquiry would be hold. All he knew he had gleaned from the newspapers. The inquiry will be conducted by Mr V. G. Day, stipendiary magistrate at Timani. Already considerable interest is being taken in the matter.
