Word has been received {-ays the Napier correspondent of the Dominion) that Allan James Berry, a Napiei High School boy, who resigned his position as a reporter to tr» Homo and study medicine, has successfully passed the preliminary examination for M.B. at Durham. Berry’s ambition to become a doctor was so strong that in order to study he worked his passage Home as a stoker.
