WYXDHAM. Tho annual report and balance sheet of the Wyndham A. and P. Society show that it is still a progressive body, and the finances prove to bo in a sound position. Tho balance in hand after all expenses for tho year is £133 14s 2d. With outstanding membership subscriptions of £2l and a horse parade entry fee (ICs) bring the assets to £155 4s 2d. and property to tho value of £24 make the total assets £179 4s 2d, with no liabilities. The committee desires to impress upon members the desirability of prompt payment of subscriptions so that tho balance sheet will not show so many unpaid at the end of the year. Thanks arc duo to donors of special prizes, cash donations, also to the canvassers and Mr W. C. Hielop,_ who tested tho milk in the milk competition. PALMERSTON AND WAIHEMO. At a meeting of the Palmerston and Waihemo A. and P. Association, held last week, Mr A M‘Laron presided. Canvassers wkore appointed for various districts. It was decided to appoint judges in all classes except tho fat stock and dairy produce. The annual show was fixed for December 5. Tho date of holding a horse parade was held over for consideration M the next meeting. It was resolved that the entry fee for each stallion he ss, and tiiat
non-members attending the parade be charged 6d admission to the grounds.
