CURE OF CANCER
HOBART, August 14,
It is reported that Dr Roberts, senh« house surgeon in the Hobart General Hospital, has made a remarkable discovery regarding cancer treatment. It consists of the further development and uso of the Rqntgen rays by employing only secondary rays. He has treated 40 cases in three years, and has 100 per cent of cures of surface cancer.
lie uses a large, thick plate of pure tin, upon which he strikes the primary rays. The patient sits in a chair with a thia plate dose against the cancerous growth. The excited rnctal throws off tho soft rays which effect the cure. There is no risk of burning the normal skin tissue with the secondary rays, which is the great risk with the primary rays.
