DEATH OF A GIRL
LONDON, August 10. In the Christian Science case some doctors gave evidence that they were unable to state that death was accelerated by the want of medical attention. The jury decided that a reasonable person would have summoned a doctor, and that the failure to do so had hastened death. The coroner stated that the verdict was tantamount to a finding of manslaughter. The father of the girl has been committed for trial, bail being allowed.
