PEACE TREATY
WASHINGTON, August 8. Tho United States Government has agreed to a convention with Salvador, which is on similar lines to Mr Bryan’s abortive peace treaties with Britain and France.
Under the terms of the treaty a commission will be appointed to examine into disputes and declare the facts before the world, leaving the world to judge which nation is right and which is wrong. Congress is likely to pass the treat}'.
