ALLEGED REINCARNATION
ROME, August 3. Professor Calderon has published a story of reincarnation. He states that the spirit of a doctor’s daughter who appeared at a spiritualistic seance informed her mother that she would be re-born on Christmas Day of the following year. At a second seance she announced: “There will be two of us, myself and another.” On Christmas Day 14 months later twin girls were born, each bearing on her face three marks that were identical with marks on the deceased, and a year later the twins manifested exactly similar mental and moral tendencies. The events are attested by numerous witnesses.
