SUPPOSED MURDER
PERTH, July 24. The ketch Wander II was found abandoned at New Derby. The owners (MacGuire and Bieos) and a companion named Newman, who were engaged in a prospecting tom - , are missing. It is supposed that they have been murdered by natives. Their personal belongings were strewn about the decks, and there were bloodstains on the hatches and on a couple of heavy native sticks. The last entry in the log is June 25, which mentions that four natives were aboard.
