THE PAGE MILLIONS
LONDON, April 24. The court has refused an application by Theodosia Hill and Charlotte Tappenden, who are sisters, claiming to be the sole heiresses of the Page millions, for the revocation of the probate of Henry Page’s will on the ground of undue influence. Fresh claimants to the famous Page estates, known as '‘Pago’s Millions,’’ figured recently in an application in the Probate Court for leave to presume the death of Richard and John Page, who, it was stated, had a title to shore in the property. The Page estates are said to comprise a large area in Middlesex, including several London suburbs, producing about two million pounds sterling. The last member of the Page family to hold the estates was Mr Henry Pago, of Upper Norton street, Marylebone, who died in 1629. The title has since been claimed by various persons, and has been the subject of applications in Chancery.
