Waimate was visited on the 16th by Mr Martin, the Reform party's organiser, with Messrs Ha.yhurst, Jeffries, and Peller. It is ■understood that the party was making arrangements' to have the Temuka seat contested in the Opposition interest should a ceneral election eventuate srw +,lv.
