FEDERAL NAVAL COLLEGE
SYDNEY, April 15. A hitch has occurred between the Federal and State Governments over the transfer of land for the Naval College site at Jervis Bay. The Federal Government has discovered that it has only proprietary not sovereign rights, and therefore cannot proceed with the scheme till full rights are obtained. A special meeting of the State Cabinet to-day will consider the matter.
