NEW ZEALAND LICENSING VOTE
GOOD TEMPLARS REJOICING. SYDNEY, April 11. The Independent Order of Good Templars adopted a resolution rejoicing over the splendid result of the prohibition vote at the recent general election in New Zealand. The result is regarded as a most significant object lesson, and as showing that the people are ready to face the direct issue liquor or no liquor in preference to the lesser issue of local option.
