THE SCRIPTURES
LONDON, April 15. The British Museum has published the Coptic version of the greater part of the book of Deuteronomy, the whole of Jonah, and nearly all the Acts from a papyrus found in 1911. This is a copy of a pre-existent document, and is not an independent translation. It was probably written before the end of the third century. It confirms the spread of Christianity in Egypt.
