CONVICTION UPHELD
LONDON, April 1. The hearing of Seddon's appeal against his conviction for the murder of Mies Barrow has been commenced. April 2. The Seddon appeal was dismissed. Mr Marshall Hall, K.C., made a tenhours' speech in support of the appeal. The court held that there was ample evidence that Miss Barrow died from arsenic poisoning, and in view of the hasty burial and other incidents, the jury's verdict was justified.
