BURGLARS IN SYDNEY

TWO MEN ARRESTED. SYDNEY, April 5. There was an exciting encounter in North Sydney to-night. When Andrew Cormack was locking np his house lie was confronted by a masked man, who presented a revolver at his head. Mr Cormack knocked the revolver aside, and closed with the man. They "truggled and wrestled for the length of the garden, but Mr Cormack's cries brought his brother, and together they disabled the intruder and conveyed him to the police station. The police also arrested an armed man in the city early in the morning, and upon searching him they found portion of the proceeds of one of the recent numerous burglaries. The man fought savagely before he was overpowered.
