AN IMPORTANT PROBLEM. OTTAWA, April 5. Speaking at a banquet in honour of the delegates at the conference called to promote preferential trade with the West Indies, the Prime Minister (Mr Borden) said that the greatest problem to-day was that ©f the closer relations of the unite of the Empire. Sir W. Laurisr said that all Canadian partes v. ore desirous of promoting the to-jty of the Empire.
