BURGLARY IN LONDON
LONDON, April 1. A gang of burglars entered the skylight of a shop adjoining Ehlinger. jewellers, Regent street. They cut huge hole* through three walls, apparently intending to remove the safe, but finally prised it open and stole £13,000 worth of jewellery. April 2. The thieves, boring from the intervening premises of an artistic fabric dealer, took dress materials and cushions to deaden the sound of the tools. They abandoned several dynamos, forming part of automatic electric drills.
