"What were you doing at the time of your arrest?" asked the magistrate of the prisoner. "I was waiting " "Waiting for whom?" "Just waiting." 'What were you waiting for?" 'To get my money." "Who from?" "The man who I was waiting for." "What did he owe it to you for?" "For waiting." "I don't know what you moan." "I thought you knew I was a waiter in & restaurant." "Oh!" gasped tli2 magistrate.
