HAYWARD'S PICTURES.

Saturday's programme at the Burns Hall, afternoon and evening, was entirely new. Odp of the features of the programme is tho American Biograph Co.'s production, "A Tale of tho Wilderness," a drama which deals with tho hardship-- of tho settlors in the pioneer days "out \V <•■!=• t " in the United Ptatop. " The Politician's Dream " is an excellent comedy by the Yitagraph Com-

pany. " Tiio Sleep Walker'* is (lie story of a lady's maid who is accused of stealing a jewel caee from her mistress. The girl, however, is exonerated. An account of a jewel robbery had acted on her brain, and in her sleep she had visited another room and taken possession of the case. "Iceland " is an interesting film. It brings before the spectator some of the wonders of that cold island in the far north, with its hot sx>rings in which the- temperature of the water i s 178 degrees. " Agra" (Bengal) is another of the scenic class, depicting the customs of the people in Northern India and the beauty and magnitude of their temples. " Picturesque Brittany " contains a number of views of mountain and valley senery, and of ruins of castles built a thousand years age. " The Jester's Joke," " Tweedledum's Football." and " The Joke on the Jester" provided any amount of mirth for young and old. The orchestral music was appropriate, and was listened to with pleasure.
