EARL GREY'S DEPARTURE. OTTAWA, October 11. The last official act of Earl Grey was the swearing in of members of the new Borden Cabinet. Immediately after he had administered the oath hie Excellency left by special train to embark at Montreal. The new Ministers go to Quebec to be present on the arrival of the Duke of Connaught, who reaches Canada on Friday. October 13. The Duke and Duchess of Connaught have arrived at Quebec. The official landing and swearing-in will take place to-day. October 14. The Duke of Connaught was officially welcomed at Quebec. 'He has been sworn in as Governor-general of Canada. October 15. Great enthusiasm marked the arrival of the Duke of Connaught, whose first official act was to sign an Order-in-Coun-cil providing for the by-elections which are due to the Cabinet appointments.
