WAITAHUNA HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY'S SPRING SHOW.

The annual spring showof the Waitahuna Horticultural Society was hold on Wednes : day last, and was well attended. It was generally admitted that the; show was i little too early this, season'. .The work of judging was undertaken by Mr/ Hamel (Dunedyi), who expressed himself 'very pleased with. the' quality of the blooms, shown, . especially • the narcissi, which he said compared more than favourably with the narcissi shown in Auckland, where he recently acted as judge. The juvenile section attracted keen competition. The officers of the society are to be congratulated upon the completeness of the arrangements.'
