SENSATIONAL ACCIDENT

PARIS, September 27. A motor 'bus of a new pattern, having no outside seats, swerved when crossing the Pont de la Cheveebe (Paris), demolished the parapet,- and fell into the ■Seine. At the moment of the 'bus skidding some of the passengers saved themselves by jumping through the open windows; others on the outside platform scrambling on to the Toof. The Abbe Richard of Belley was among those immersed. A diver rescued six from the 'bus, which ia at the bottom of the Seine. It is feared, however, that 16 people were drowned. Ten are now in the hospitals. September 28. Eleven persons were drowned, including the driver .and three children, in the motor 'bus accident in the Seine. The engine-driver lost his wife, his brother, and all his children. The Abbe Richard, who was in the submerged 'bus, extricated himself, and then saved as many as he could reach.
