Oft when twilight, shades are slowly stealing, And t-bo “ hush ” of evening lingers over all. I seem to hear a far bell softly pealing ■ O’er tbo billows, a.s they gently rise and fall. And I seem to boar thy diear voice faintly calling. Its OTVN»t tones mingling with that distant ball. Ah f beloved, fast hit tears arc falling. For always I must answer fare thee well. —M. L.
