BOARING ACCIDENT.
ONE LIFE LOjT. AUCKLAND, April 3. A boating accident occurred in Marukau Harbour yesterday afternoon, when a heavy north-west gal© was blowing. At dusk a message was received that a yacht had capsized at Puponga Point, in Huia Bay. The police tried to send a launch down, but the sea was so rough that the largest launch would not venture out. The yacht Valkyrie was misced from her usual moorings. The Valkyrie (ownrd .oy Taylor Bros., Onehuirga) left Onehunga on Saturday for a week-end cruise, with four men aboard —Emerson Taylor, John Leahy, Robeit Cress, and another. A later message states three men were rescued none the worse for the mishap. Emerson. Taylor was also".brought ashore, but life was extinct.
