NEW ZEALAND ACCOUNTANTS AND AUDITORS' ASSOCIATION.
The thirteenth annual general meeting of the New Zealand Accountants' and Auditors' Association was held in the Chamber of Commerce Hall on February 28. Mr Hy, Shaw (Auckland), president of the association, presided, and there wore about 20 other members present, including delegates from Auckland, Taranaki, Wellington, Canterbury, and Southland, as well as local members. The balance sheet showed that the association possessed acctimulated funds to the amount of £354 5s Id. Tho election of office-bearers resulted as follows:—President, Mr R. Wilberfoss (Wellington); vice-presidents—Messrs R. H. A. Potter (Auckland), J. C. Port (Wellington), H. Bailev (Taranaki), F. H. Labatt (Canterbury), C. H. Statham (Otago), W. A. Ott (Southland); council: Auckland— Messrs Shaw, Evans, O'Halloran, Takle, and Short: Taranaki —Messrs Corkhill and Ellis ; Wellington—Messrs James Kellow, T. Forsyth, J. M. Fleming, J. H. G. Rowley, and D. M'Kay; Canterbury— Messrs W. H. Cheeseman, W. E. Best, Compton, Max-shall, and Modlin; Otago— Messrs G. Blyth, G. M. M'Lean, J. G. Patterson, W. E. C. Reid, and T. H. Thompson; Southland—Messrs R. JA. Anderson, J. Cunningham, and W. F. Scandrett.
