THE CLAPHAM MURDER
LONDON, January 25.
At the inquiry concerning the murder of Beron in Clapham Common Eva Fitterman, Morrison's lover, gave evidence that she saw Morrison wearing a £5 piece pendant attached to his watch chain.
The prisoner in court vehemently denied the statement. He alleged that the evidence consisted of lies, which were the result of jealousy. He cried, "Do you know that you are taking my life?"
Other evidence showed that Beron wore a £5 piece.
January 29.
At the hearing of the charge of murder against Morrison in connection with the murder of M. Beron Eva Flitterman withdrew her testimony, saying that what she saw looked like a shilling.
The magistrate is considering the question of her committal for perjury. Mr Layman, a cabman, testified that he drove Morrison and another man from the corner of Sidney street to Clapham Common,
