EUGENICS EDUCATION SOCIETY.
The first meeting of the newly-elected! council of the New Zealand Eugenics Education Society (to bo affiliated with the London Society) was held en August 30. The election of officers, which in every case was unanimous, resulted as follows:—■ President, Professor Benham: vice-presi-dents, Rev. Canon Ourzon-Siggers, Dr 'D-.Tidly Siedeberg, Mr A. H. Grkiling; hon. treasurer, Mr H. D. Bedford; hon. secretary and collector, Miss Macgeorge. The Hon. Dr J. G. Findlay, as has been already announced, has readilv consented to Rtand as hon. president of the New Zealand Society.
