MELBOURNE-TROTTING CLUB. (From a Correspondent.) The attendance at the Melbourne Trotting Club's meetings grow gradually grea-ter-as time goes on, and the sound "sport that) results on ever} occasion is' 'a fin© tributes to the management of these events, as well as to the fine spirit that has been engendered among trotting horse-owners sines Mr J. Wren undertook the task of lifting this sport out of the diilness that enveloped it in Victoria a. few years ago. On April 22 a very large, crowd assembled! at Richmond (Melbourne), and some very enjoyable sport was experienced.
