ST. PETERSBURG, April 24. A fire at the Nikolai terminus, in this city, destroyed £IOO,OOO worth of hay and other merchandise. NEW YORK, April 24. A fire at Lake Charles (Louisiana) resulted in the destruction of 2,000,000d0l worth of property. Two thousand people have been rendered! homeless.
