BRITAIN AND SOMALILAND
LONDON, April 23. Britain's action in withdrawing her troops to the Somali coast is strongly criticised, especially as Colonel Sir William Manning, who took part in the Somaliland campaign, admits the probability of severe internecine feuds, and emphasises the fact that the friendly natives are disorganised and weakened through listlessly relying on the British protection. -
