BRIGANDS IN PERSIA.
TEHERAN, April 19. The Bakhtiari horsemen and artillery were for five days engaged fighting 500 brigands, who had fortified themselves in a village in the district of Gomshah, to the southward of Ispahan. Fifty of the brigands were killed, 70 wounded, a.nd 100 captured, including the leaders. The latter will be executed.
