SHOOTTING.

DUNEDIN HIGHLAND RIFLES. On Saturday, 12th inst., the annual match between present and ex-members of the Dunedin Highland Rifles was fired on. the company’s range at Pelichet Bay. The weather conditions were very favourable. The ex-merabers were victorious by 31 points. The conditions were: Twelve men aside; seven shots and a sighter at 200 and 500 yards. Scores: — Ex-members.

Total o'* In the evening the cx-meinbers were, entertained at a smoke concert. The Pipe Band were also present. There was a large attendance of the ex-members, but not many of the present members. Ladies’ Match. The Ladies’ Match was won by Mrs Beath, with Mrs Lacy and Miss Gladys Stoneham second and third respectively.
