MR AND MRS ROOSEVELT
LONDON, March 13Mr Roosevelt and his son met Mrs Roosevelt at Khartoum as arranged. CAIRO, March 15. Mr and Mrs Roosevelt and daughter are staying at the Palace in Khartoum. They inspected the battlefields round the city, and Mr Rosevelt addressed the students at Gordon College. He said he was greatly impressed with the wonderful res-alts of'British rule, particularly with the palatial houses and gardens at Khartoum. March 21. Mi Roosevelt visited the tetngtes *fc Philae and the Assouan dam. Speaking to a deputation of native officers of th» Egyptian army, he warned them against combining military . matters with politics. Mr Roosevelt is to arrive at Naples o» April 2. Thence he proceeds to Paris and Vienna, Teaching Berlin on May 10, London on the 15th, and. America early in June.
