Wood, jeweller, of Brook street, London. It was alleged that Eggena represented himself as the owner of 25 care, and obtained the jewels, which he after-M-ards pawned on La Milo's behalf. Eggena had previously attempted to pawn a pearl neeklac-3 worth £30,000. The accused were remanded. Esgena being 1 allowed bail of £2OOO. Easton £2OOO, and La Milo £SOOO.
