The Federal Treasury has seen an intimation to the banks that supplies of the new coinage will be forwarded on application. The most notable feature about the shilling that has been received is that the Kinar's hoad bears a crown, and that the Austalian ccat-of-arms on the other 6ide is remarkable for an attenuated kantraroo and a somewhat emaciated emu. The i design of both animals was evidently taken 1 in drought time.—Sydney Daily Telegraph.
