FURNITURE FOR GOVERNMENT HOUSE. " WELLINGTON, March 3. A deputation from representatives of the furniture trade employers and workers waited on the Minister of Public Works (the Hon. S, M'Kenzie) this afternoon and urged that the furniture for the ne\V Government House should be manufactured locally and not imported, as tha deputation understood was the intention of th.e Government. •
