NEW CHIEF JUSTICE
SIR F. M. BARLEY’S SUCCESSOR. SYDNEY, January 14. The Hon. W. P. Cullen succeeds Sir F. M. Darky in the Chief Justiceship. The Hon. William Pcrtus Cullen, M.A., LL.D., M.L.C., of New South Wales, is a barrister at law and King’s Counsel since 1905. He was elected M.L.A. for Camden in 1891, and has been M.L.C. sine? 1895. He has been a Fellow of the Senate of Sydney University since 1896. The new Chief Justice has for many years been prominently connected with tho legal and political life of tho State.
