' Sir R. W. Perks (Liberal member for Xouth), speaking at Louth, said that the Xaberal party were marching to political disaster. The position was similar to that in 1886, when the Liberal election wirepullers advised Mr Gladstone that all was in order. To-day, aleo, the silent voter must be reckoned with.
