MANAWATU RACING CLUB.
PALMERSTON N., January 18.
At a meeting of the Manawatu Racing Club the balance sheet for the Christmas meeting showed a profit of nearly £1000Mr J. R Forester Pratt was appointed starter for the autumn meeting. Support was extended to ihe Wangamii Jockey Club's movement towards the appointment of stipendiary stewards, providing it be adopted generally.
