WELLINGTON, January 13. ' At the Magistrate's Court to-day Robert Charles Collins was committed for trial on & charge of manslaughter in connection Srith the death of John Ferguson. It is ijJleged that on the night of December 12 jDolMns struck Ferguson a blow which had fatal results. . White pine timber to the extent of 3,073,643 super, feet, valued at £12,733, was Exported last year from Wanganui to Sydkiey, with the exception of one Bhipload to feriabane. All the timber came from mills % the Taihape district.
