HAWKE'S BAY.
At the Mai^istrale's Court on the 6th Wm. Robinson was charged with having, on November 13, at Runanga, on the Napier-Taupo road, received from Samuel Beswick 10 head of cattle, valued at £45, j the property of Richard Keene ard James I Beid, knowing the same to have been stolen. Accused, who reserved his defence, -was committed to the Supreme > Court for trial. The premium of £100 offered by the Napier Working Men's Club for plans for a new building to cost not more than £10,000, has been won by Mr Louii> Hay, of Naj'^r. The committee placed the plains dr Mr H. Burr, of Wellington, second and those of Messis Riais and James, of Hastings, third. j
