AUCKLAND. January 10. The Auckland cricket championships were resumed yesterday on good wickets, the sixth round being commenced. In the First Grade matches Parnell, playing •gainst North Shore, made 184 (R B Lusk 70, E. Sale 54). Hadden took four wickets for 43 runs and M'Mahon six for §1. North Shore made 57 for no wickets. Grafton's first innings against Eden Colts Realised 201 (R. Slonan 88), and the Eden Dolts made 59 for six wickets. Mason took sis wickets for 33 runs. City made 250 ggwnst Ponsonby (R. Neill 98 and Stemson g7). Woods took five wickets for 47 runs. ||6nßonby scored 7 for no wickets. Eden A gave University a whole afterboon's leather hunting, making 347 (Cunirtings 47, Elliott 97, Horspool 56, and si Laughlin 52, not out).
