CLEARING SALE.
Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. report as follow: —Consequent on Mr t7as. Dow, " Carlowrie," near Outram, having sold his farm, we held a highly successful clearing sale on Thursday, the 7th inst., of the whole of his live> and dead stock. There was a large .attendance of buyers from miles around, all intent on business, with the result that bidding throughout was exceedingly animated, and the prices realised were highly satisfactory. Horses were disposed of at up to £.35, cows to £10 se, yearling heifers to £3 13s; implements and) household furniture also realised full values.
